Dear Parents / Carers

I wanted to write to you as we approach another end of term.

This Term has seen Students embracing the Word of the Week which has proved to be a positive addition across the whole School Curriculum.

We also celebrated International Women’s Day which we covered in PSHE, History and CCC.

We have been looking at the possibility of a brand new Student and Staff Uniform as suggested by Student Council and hope to be able to give you more information about this in Summer Term. Both staff and students are excited about this.

I’m pleased to report that the building works on the roof at the main school building are progressing despite having a lot of rain earlier in the term! I would like to congratulate the Students on their approach to the works in School as we have seen some changes in classrooms and learning areas. They have all dealt with this with maturity and a positive mindset.

Summer Term will see the start of exams for Students in KS4 and KS5 and we will be in touch about this next term if your student is within these Key Stages.

Monday 9th May is the start of Mental Health Awareness Week and Roselyn House School and The RHISE Service will be giving all students and staff access to a Mental Health Awareness Course which will support our whole school approach to Mental Health.

We have seen a rise in Covid cases within our setting over the last few weeks and I would urge you to continue to stay safe and follow Guidance where appropriate.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and wish you and your

family a happy and healthy Easter Break.

With best wishes
