Therapeutic Activities

As part of the Individualised programmes of study, students select Therapeutic Options. Many of which aim to develop a young person's self-esteem, organisation skills, social interaction, self-regulation, motivation and attention and are also accredited with the AQA Unit Award Scheme. The Therapeutic activities follow Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning known as, SEAL. These skills help the student to make positive relationships with others, understand his/herself and manage their own emotions, thoughts and behaviours and begin to understand and respond to the emotions and behaviours of others in a positive and proactive manner.
